Though he felt his guests had (for the most part) been enjoying themselves, Sidon felt that his duties were a little more demanding on him while he was here than he'd originally suspected, which meant he hadn't nearly had enough time to really connect with his friends. He supposed, though, that the feast would be a good opportunity to do that, for what little time he planned on spending there, as other duties called.

Those duties were far more enjoyable than the princely ones, though.
